Can I sign up for Juuli from my country? Here's the full list

Where you can use Juuli depends on where you live and which service you need.

EEA — full access*

In a supported EEA country* you can open a Personal account with a European IBAN and a Visa debit card. A business registered in one of these countries — Sole Trader or Company — can open a business account with an IBAN and cards. Freelancers there also get invoicing.

*Full account access — an IBAN payment account and a Visa debit card — is currently available in 20 countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. Other EEA countries — for example Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway — are not eligible for a Juuli IBAN or Visa card yet. Freelancer invoicing through our Merchant of Record is available more widely — see below.

Freelancers worldwide — invoicing through Merchant of Record

Wherever you are — including the UK and the rest of the world — you can use Juuli as a Freelancer to invoice your clients through our Merchant-of-Record service. A Juuli IBAN payment account and Visa debit card are available only in the 20 countries listed above, so anywhere else Juuli is invoicing-only. As an invoicing-only Freelancer you are still paid — to your own bank account, with no Juuli IBAN needed.

Businesses

A Sole Trader or Company account (with an IBAN and cards) is available when the business is registered in one of those 20 countries. We can't onboard a business if a beneficial owner (UBO) is connected to a sanctioned jurisdiction, regardless of where the company itself is registered — see below.

Where Juuli isn't available

We can't offer Juuli in sanctioned jurisdictions — currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

What about my clients?

Your clients can pay you from many countries — your eligibility is about where you sign up, not where your clients are based.
