Why was my Juuli application declined — and what can I do about it?

Application declines are rare, but they do happen. Here's why it might have occurred and what your options are.

Common reasons for a declined application

Document issues → Expired ID document → Blurry, cropped, or unreadable photo → Name on the document doesn't match the name you registered with → Document type not accepted in your country

→ [Which ID documents does Juuli accept?]

Eligibility issues → Your country of residence is not currently supported → You don't meet the minimum age requirement (18+) → A previous Juuli account exists under the same identity

Compliance-related issues → Information provided during sign-up could not be verified → Your application flagged during AML/KYC review — this is a standard regulatory process and does not imply wrongdoing

What should I do?

  1. Check your email — if your application was declined, you'll receive an email with the reason and, where possible, guidance on next steps
  2. Review your documents — if the issue was document quality, you can resubmit with a clearer photo or a different document type
  3. Contact our support team — reply to the decline email or reach out directly. We'll review your case and tell you whether reapplication is possible

Can I reapply?

In many cases, yes — especially if the issue was a document problem. Our support team will confirm whether your case is eligible for reapplication.

Still have questions? Contact our support team by email — we'll look into your application and give you a clear answer.
