Can I change my Juuli plan mid-month? What happens to my billing?

Yes — you can change your plan at any time, including mid-month. Here's exactly how billing works when you do.

Upgrading mid-month

If you upgrade (e.g. Freemium → Pro, or Pro → Max) mid-month:

  • Your new plan activates immediately
  • You're charged a prorated amount for the remaining days of the month
  • Example: upgrade to Pro on day 15 of a 30-day month → you pay €9.50 (half of €19)

Downgrading mid-month

If you downgrade (e.g. Max → Pro, or Pro → Freemium) mid-month:

  • Your new plan activates immediately
  • You receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current plan
  • The credit is applied to your next billing cycle

When is billing processed?

Juuli billing runs on a monthly cycle starting from the date you first subscribed to a paid plan. Your billing date is shown in Financial Accounts → Billing.

What payment method does Juuli use for billing?

Juuli collects subscription fees via the payment card on file in your account settings. You can update your billing card at any time from Financial Accounts → Billing → Open Billing Portal.

What if my payment fails?

If a subscription payment fails, you'll receive an email notification. Your account will remain active for a short grace period while we retry the payment. If payment is not resolved, your plan may revert to Freemium.
