How to open a Juuli Personal account (and get your IBAN instantly)
Opening a Juuli Personal account takes just a few minutes. Once your identity is verified, your dedicated IBAN and Visa card are activated instantly — so you can start receiving and sending money right away.
Before you start
- You'll need a valid government-issued ID and a device with a camera for a quick selfie check.
- There is no setup, activation, or joining fee — opening an account is completely free on every plan.
Where a Juuli IBAN account and Visa card are available: only when you live in — or, for a business, are registered in — one of these 20 EEA countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. Other EEA countries — for example Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway — are not eligible for a Juuli IBAN or Visa card yet. Freelancers anywhere in the world can still invoice their clients through Juuli's Merchant of Record.
Step by step
- Go to app.juuli.com and select Sign up.
- Enter your email and create a password. We'll email you a one-time PIN code to confirm it's really you — enter that code to continue.
- Choose the Personal account type and fill in your basic details.
- Complete identity verification (KYC): scan your ID and take a short selfie. This is usually automated and takes only a few minutes.
- That's it — once you're approved, your IBAN and Visa card are activated instantly.
What you get right away
- A dedicated IBAN account to receive and send money.
- A virtual Visa card ready to use immediately (your plan determines how many cards are included).
- A secure, in-app dashboard to track balances and transactions.
