How to receive an international (SWIFT) payment to your Juuli account
⏳ From 1 September 2026 — SWIFT (international) transfers are not yet active; they are launching on 1 September 2026. This article explains how they will work once available. In the meantime, if you need to send or receive an international payment, please contact us at support@juuli.com.
What a SWIFT payment is
SWIFT is the network used for international payments that travel outside the SEPA (euro) area — for example, a payment sent to you in US dollars, British pounds, or another non-euro currency. When someone abroad pays you, the funds arrive in your Juuli IBAN payment account through this network. Juuli is a regulated platform, not a bank; e-money and payment services are provided by Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, an Electronic Money Institution authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Before you start
- Your account must be active. Your IBAN payment account becomes available as soon as your identity check (KYC) is approved.
- SWIFT payments can reach you from a wide range of countries. Juuli supports account holders in the EEA.
Steps to receive a SWIFT payment
- Sign in at app.juuli.com and open your account details to find your IBAN and account holder name.
- Share these details with the sender, exactly as shown. Make sure the name matches your Juuli account.
- Ask the sender to include any reference you need so you can recognise the payment.
- Wait for the funds to arrive. International transfers can take longer than local ones — typically a few business days, depending on the sending institution and currency.
- Once received, the payment appears in your transaction history and your balance updates automatically.
Fees for incoming SWIFT payments
The fee for receiving a SWIFT payment depends on your plan:
|
Plan |

If the payment is sent in a currency other than euro, it is converted to your balance currency with a transparent, competitive FX rate. There is no setup or joining fee on any plan.
Good to know
- For euro payments within the SEPA area, a regular transfer is faster and may carry a lower fee.
- Always double-check the IBAN and name before sharing them. Juuli will never ask you for your password or a 2FA code.
