How to send a SEPA transfer from your Juuli account

A SEPA transfer lets you send euros from your Juuli payment account to a bank account in one of the 20 eurozone countries. This guide walks you through sending one step by step.

⚠️ Where you can send right now: outgoing SEPA transfers can currently be sent only to bank accounts in the 20 eurozone countries — Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. Sending to other countries — including non-euro EEA countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Poland and Norway, and the UK — is not available yet. If you enter an IBAN from an unsupported country, it is flagged and Send is disabled. (Receiving money from those countries still works.)

Before you start

  • Your identity check (KYC) must be approved, so your IBAN account is active.
  • You need enough euro balance to cover the amount plus any applicable fee.
  • Have the recipient's full name and IBAN ready. A reference or payment description is optional but helpful.

Step by step

  1. Sign in at app.juuli.com.
  2. Open Financial Accounts → Accounts, then select Send Money.
  3. Enter the recipient's name and IBAN, then add the amount in euros and an optional reference.
  4. Review the details on the confirmation screen, including any fee shown.
  5. Confirm the transfer. For your security, you may be asked to enter the one-time PIN code sent to your registered email address.

Once confirmed, the payment is submitted to the SEPA network. Standard SEPA transfers typically arrive within one business day. If you are sending to another Juuli account, the transfer settles instantly without using the SEPA network.

SEPA outgoing fees by plan

Your fee depends on your plan and how many SEPA transfers you have already sent that month:

Plan

SEPA outgoing fee

Freemium

0.50% per transfer

Pro

First 10 each month free, then €2 per transfer

Max

First 30 each month free, then €0.50 per transfer

Any fee is always displayed before you confirm, so you will never be charged a surprise amount.

Good to know

  • Outgoing SEPA transfers can currently be sent only to the 20 eurozone countries (see the note above) — sending to other countries, including the UK and non-euro EEA countries, is not available yet.
  • Double-check the IBAN before confirming — payments are processed based on the account number you enter.
  • Juuli is a regulated platform, not a bank. Payment and e-money services are provided by Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, an Electronic Money Institution authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland (firm reference C187865).
