How to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on Juuli
What 2FA is on Juuli
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of protection to your account. On Juuli, 2FA works through a one-time PIN code sent to the email address registered on your account. Each time you sign in, you confirm it's really you by entering this code — so even if someone learns your password, they cannot get in without access to your inbox.
Juuli's 2FA uses an emailed PIN code. It does not use SMS text messages or a separate authenticator app, so there is nothing extra to download or configure.
Good news: it's already on
You don't need to switch anything on. Two-factor authentication is mandatory and active by default for every Juuli account, and it cannot be turned off. This keeps your money and personal data protected at all times.
How signing in with 2FA works
- Go to app.juuli.com and enter your email address and password.
- We send a one-time PIN code to your registered email, with the subject line "Your Juuli 2FA Code".
- Open the email, copy the code, and enter it on the sign-in screen.
- Once the code is confirmed, you're securely signed in.
The code is time-limited and works only once. If it expires before you use it, simply request a new one and we'll send a fresh code.
Tips for a smooth experience
- Make sure the email address on your profile is current. If it's outdated, you won't receive your codes. To update it, contact our support team — for security, email and phone changes are made by our team after we re-verify your identity.
- Check your spam or junk folder if a code doesn't arrive within a minute, and add Juuli to your safe senders.
- Keep your email account itself secure — ideally with its own strong password and 2FA — since it now protects your Juuli sign-in too.
Keeping your account safe
Juuli will never ask you for your password or your 2FA code by phone, email, or message. If anyone requests these, it's a scam — do not share them, and report it to us. As a regulated platform (with e-money and payment services provided by Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, our authorised Electronic Money Institution), protecting your access is a shared priority.
