What are the limits on my Juuli Freelancer account? (By plan)
Your Juuli Freelancer account comes with a payment account (IBAN) and Visa cards, plus a set of plan-based allowances. The main "limits" you'll care about are how many cards you can hold and how many fee-free transfers you get each month. Here's how they compare across the three plans.
Card allowances by plan
Each plan includes a number of virtual and physical cards. You can always add more — extra cards are charged as a one-time fee (no monthly or renewal cost). Virtual cards are issued instantly; physical cards are shipped (€20 standard / €35 express).
| Freemium | Pro | Max | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly fee | €0 | €19 | €29 |
| Virtual cards included | 1 | 5 | 15 |
| Physical cards included | 0 | 1 | 3 |
| Extra virtual card (one-time) | €5 | €2 | €1 |
| Extra physical card (one-time) | — | €15 | €12 |
Fee-free transfer allowances
The number of free outgoing SEPA transfers you get each month depends on your plan. Incoming transfers are free on Pro and Max. Allowances reset at the start of each month.
| Freemium | Pro | Max | |
|---|---|---|---|
| SEPA incoming | 0.50% | Free | Free |
| SEPA outgoing | 0.50% | First 10/mo free, then €2 | First 30/mo free, then €0.50 |
| SWIFT incoming | 1% | Free | Free |
| SWIFT outgoing | €25 + 1% | €25 | €10 |
⏳ SWIFT — from 1 September 2026 — international (SWIFT) transfers are not yet active; they are launching on 1 September 2026. For a SWIFT payment, please contact us at support@juuli.com.
What there's no fixed limit on
- There is no setup, activation or joining fee on any plan — that's always €0.
- Your account is multi-currency, so you can hold and receive in several currencies; a transparent FX markup applies when you convert.
- Higher plans don't cap your activity — they simply raise your included card and fee-free transfer allowances and lower your per-transfer fees.
A couple of things to keep in mind
Where available, your IBAN account and Visa cards activate as soon as your identity check (KYC) is approved. Certain actions — like very high-value or unusual transfers — may be subject to security and compliance review by our regulated payment partner before they complete.
Where a Juuli IBAN account and Visa card are available: only when you live in — or, for a business, are registered in — one of these 20 EEA countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. Other EEA countries — for example Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway — are not eligible for a Juuli IBAN or Visa card yet. Freelancers anywhere in the world can still invoice their clients through Juuli's Merchant of Record.
