How to send an international SWIFT transfer from your Juuli Business account
⏳ From 1 September 2026 — SWIFT (international) transfers are not yet active; they are launching on 1 September 2026. This article explains how they will work once available. In the meantime, if you need to send or receive an international payment, please contact us at support@juuli.com.
SWIFT lets you send funds from your Juuli Sole Trader or Company payment account to recipients outside the SEPA network, in a range of currencies. This guide walks you through sending one and what to expect on fees.
Before you start
- Your business account must be fully verified. For Sole Trader and Company accounts this means completing both identity verification (KYC) and business verification (KYB).
- Make sure your payment account holds enough balance in the relevant currency to cover both the transfer amount and the applicable fee.
- Have the recipient's details ready: full legal name, account number or IBAN, and the recipient's SWIFT/BIC code.
Sending a SWIFT transfer
- Log in at app.juuli.com, open Financial Accounts → Accounts, and select Send Money.
- Choose international / SWIFT as the transfer type and select the account you are sending from.
- Enter the recipient's name, account number or IBAN, and SWIFT/BIC code, then the amount and currency.
- Review the summary, including any currency conversion and the fee, then confirm.
- Authorise the payment with the one-time PIN code we email to your registered address.
Once submitted, the transfer is processed over the SWIFT network. International payments can take a few business days to arrive, depending on the destination and any intermediary institutions along the way.
SWIFT outgoing fees
The fee for sending a SWIFT transfer depends on your plan:
| Plan | SWIFT outgoing fee |
|---|---|
| Freemium | €25 + 1% |
| Pro | €25 |
| Max | €10 |
If your payment involves a currency conversion, a transparent, competitive FX rate is applied at the time of the transfer. The recipient's own institution or any intermediary may also deduct its own charges, which are outside Juuli's control.
Good to know
- Juuli is a regulated platform, not a bank. E-money and payment services are provided by Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, an Electronic Money Institution authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland (firm reference C187865).
- Juuli account holders are based in the EEA, and a SWIFT payment can reach recipients in many countries internationally.
- For payments within the SEPA area, a SEPA transfer is usually faster and cheaper than SWIFT.
