Juuli will never ask for your password — how to spot a scam
Your security matters to us. Scammers sometimes pretend to be a trusted company to trick you into handing over sensitive details. This article explains what Juuli will and will not ask for, so you can recognise a scam straight away and keep your account safe.
What Juuli will never ask for
Genuine Juuli staff will never ask you to share any of the following — by email, phone, chat, social media or text message:
- Your account password.
- Your one-time PIN code. When you sign in, we send a single-use code to your registered email address. That code is for you alone — no one at Juuli needs it, and we will never ask you to read it out or forward it.
- Your full card number, CVC or card PIN.
- Remote access to your device, or for you to install software so someone can "fix" your account.
If anyone requests these — even if they sound official or urgent — it is a scam. Stop and do not share anything.
Common warning signs
- Urgency or threats: "Your account will be closed in one hour unless you verify now."
- Requests to move money to a "safe" account or to confirm a payment you do not recognise.
- Links to a login page that is not app.juuli.com. Always check the address before entering anything.
- Unexpected codes: if you receive a sign-in PIN you did not request, someone may be trying to access your account — do not share it.
- Messages with poor spelling, an odd sender address, or an offer that seems too good to be true.
How to keep your account safe
- Only ever log in at app.juuli.com, and type the address yourself rather than following links.
- Keep your password private and unique to Juuli, and never reuse it elsewhere.
- Treat your emailed sign-in code as confidential, just like your password.
- If you suspect your card has been compromised, freeze it instantly in the app under your card settings, then contact us.
