How does Juuli notify me when terms change?

From time to time we update our Terms of Service, fee schedule, or related policies — for example, to reflect new features, regulatory requirements, or pricing changes. When that happens, we make sure you hear about it clearly and in good time, so there are no surprises.

How we let you know

When our terms change, we communicate the update through one or both of these channels:

  • Email — we send a notice to the email address registered on your account, summarising what is changing.
  • Your account dashboard — important updates are also surfaced inside the Juuli app at app.juuli.com, so you can review them when you next sign in.

This is why it is important to keep your registered email address up to date.

Advance notice for material changes

For significant ("material") changes to the framework terms — such as changes that affect your costs or your rights — we give you at least two months’ notice before the new terms take effect, as required for regulated payment services. For minor or operational changes (for example, clarifying wording), we give shorter notice of at least 14 days. This gives you time to read the update, ask questions, and decide what you would like to do. Changes required by law, or that introduce new features, may take effect sooner or immediately.

What counts as accepting the new terms

Once an update is in effect, your continued use of Juuli generally means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with a change, you are free to stop using the affected service or to close your account before the change applies.

If you choose to close your account, remember to withdraw any remaining balance first, as this must be done before closure can be completed (note that some funds may be held temporarily for potential chargebacks or recalls, or during a compliance review).

Who provides the regulated services

Juuli is a regulated platform, not a bank. The underlying e-money and payment services are provided by Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, an Electronic Money Institution authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland (firm reference C187865). Some updates may therefore relate to our partner's terms as well as Juuli's own. Where that is the case, we will point you to the relevant document so you always know which terms apply.

A note on security

Genuine terms-change notices will never ask you for your password or a 2FA code. Juuli will never request these. If a message claiming to be about a terms update asks for your login details, do not respond — instead contact us directly.
