How to open a Juuli account in 3 minutes (step-by-step)
Opening a Juuli account takes about 3 minutes. No paperwork, no branch visit, no waiting days for approval. Here's exactly what to do.
Step 1 — Go to app.juuli.com
Go to app.juuli.com in your browser — on desktop or mobile. (Juuli is a web app, so there is no separate App Store or Google Play app to download.) Click Get Started and enter your email address. You'll receive a confirmation email — click the link to verify your address.
Step 2 — Choose your account type
Select the account type that fits how you work:
- Personal — for individual use
- Freelancer — for independent professionals who invoice clients
- Sole Trader — for registered individual business owners
- Company — for incorporated businesses

Step 3 — Complete identity verification (KYC)
Upload a valid ID document. Accepted documents vary by country — most users can use:
- National ID card
- Passport
- Residence permit (in some countries)
The process is fully digital and takes 2–5 minutes.
As part of signing up you also verify your phone number: we send a one-time code by SMS to the number you enter — type it in to confirm. This one-time SMS is the only time we verify your phone this way. Not getting the code? Check the number and country code are correct, request a new one, and if it still does not arrive contact support@juuli.com.

Step 4 — For Business accounts: complete company verification (KYB)
If you're opening a Sole Trader or Company account, you'll also need to upload business documents.

Step 5 — Get your IBAN and virtual Visa card
Once verified, your European IBAN and virtual Visa card are available immediately. You can start receiving payments right away.
Step 6 — Fund your account
Send a SEPA transfer from any existing account to your new Juuli IBAN. Funds arrive within seconds (SEPA Instant) or by the next business day (SEPA Standard).
That's it.
No minimum balance. No monthly fee on Freemium. No company required for Freelancer accounts.
